Background:
Each year, the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board provides an opportunity to parents/guardians, students, staff and community members to review the draft school year calendar for the upcoming year.
You can access the Draft 2024-2025 Elementary and Secondary Calendars under Documents on the rights side of this page.
Highlights include:
- The first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
- The proposed winter break is from December 23, 2024 - January 5, 2024. The last day of classes will be Friday, December 20, 2024 and the students will return to class on Monday, January 6, 2025.
- The proposed March Break is March 7 to March 14, 2025.
For those who wish to give feedback, we ask that you use the survey tool below to provide constructive feedback. Your comments will be reviewed and considered in making final recommendations for Board and Ministry of Education approval.
