Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School
Update as of Nov. 27, 2024:
- The new front door is now located along the side of the school. Please follow the sidewalk past the previous main entrance to access it. The buzzer is located beside the door. Mr. James and Mrs. Brady will be there to greet you!
- Access to the student washrooms going forward will now be through the gym as the hallway has been closed to traffic as a safety precaution while the Board works to design and install shoring in the front section of the school.
- Fencing has been temporarily installed along the front section of the school, an area which will remain off-limits.
- Students are being dismissed from the west entrance of our building to buses and the Parent Pick-Up zone.
- If you require an early pick-up, please email or call Mr. James directly. Please do your best to come during a break point to the new front entrance to sign out your child.
- We’re happy to share that students have settled into their new learning spaces, embracing the changes with positivity, excitement and resilience.
Recently, a structural assessment identified an issue with a section of the concrete roof at Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School, affecting approximately one-third of the building, including several classrooms and common spaces. As a precaution, students and staff from these areas have been relocated to other parts of the school that have been thoroughly assessed and confirmed safe.
